Privacy Policy
Effective: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Precision Signing Agency (“PSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit precisionsigningagency.com or otherwise interact with our closing services. PSA is committed to handling personal information with the same level of care we bring to every closing.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information you provide through forms on this site: name, company, email, phone, role, and any message content.
- Closing-related information received from our title, escrow, lender, attorney, builder, or agent partners during the course of dispatching a closing: borrower or signer names, addresses, transaction details, and identifying documents.
- Identity-verification data required by state and federal law for notarial acts, including government-issued ID images, knowledge-based authentication responses, and (for Remote Online Notarization) audiovisual session recordings.
- Operational metadata generated by our closing platform: scheduling timestamps, agent assignments, document tracking events, and audit logs.
- Technical information automatically collected when you browse this site: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, referrer, and similar log data.
2. How We Use Personal Information
- To coordinate, dispatch, and execute closings on behalf of our partners.
- To communicate with you and other parties about transactions, scheduling, and account status.
- To verify identity and complete notarial acts in accordance with applicable state laws.
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations, including FNF compliance requirements and notarial recordkeeping statutes.
- To audit quality, train our team, prevent fraud, and improve our services.
- To respond to legal requests and protect our rights and the rights of partners and consumers.
3. How We Protect Personal Information
PSA operates on a SOC2 Type II-certified platform with annual independent audits. We maintain $2M Errors & Omissions, $2M Cyber Liability, and $1M General Liability insurance coverage. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to personal information is restricted to PSA personnel and trusted contractors who require access to perform their duties, and is governed by written confidentiality agreements.
Remote Online Notarization session recordings are encrypted, stored on infrastructure that complies with applicable state requirements, and retained for a minimum of ten (10) years from the date of the notarial act.
4. Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With parties to the transaction: title companies, escrow officers, lenders, real-estate attorneys, signing agents, and other authorized parties who require the information to complete a closing.
- With service providers: identity-verification vendors, e-signature platforms, communications providers, and other contractors operating under written confidentiality and data-protection agreements.
- As required by law: in response to lawful subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requests, or when necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of PSA or others.
- In connection with a business transaction: if PSA is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, satisfy our legal and compliance obligations (including notarial recordkeeping requirements that may extend ten years or longer in some jurisdictions), enforce our agreements, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we hold about you; to opt out of certain uses; or to appeal a decision we make about your request. Where applicable, you may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
To exercise these rights, contact us at orders@precisionsigningagency.com or 984.206.4521. We will respond within the timeframe required by your applicable state law (typically 30 to 45 days). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
